Jose & Sunny Family Line in the New Jersey Area since 2005
Jose and Sunny were born in Korea and Jose came to New Jersey, America in 2001 and Sunny came in 2005. Since then, Jose and Sunny's family has been expanding to the area of New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. The puppies of this family line share similar characteristics. Most of them are more petite and rounded in figure with cute eyes and beautiful medium-length hair. They are very friendly, sociable, playful and gentle. Jose, the father of many, was taken away to an unknown place in 2007, and has not been located since. Sunny died in 2008, perhaps of the hot weather on one summer day. Below are the pictures of Jose (left) and Sunny (middle) with puppies (right),
Han Gook & Maggie Family Line in the D.C. Area since 2007
Han Gook and Maggie (formerly named Hwang-ryong and Chung-soon) came to Washington, D.C. as puppies from the Korean Sapsaree Foundation in May 2007. They came as a pair, officially approved by the Korean government, to participate in the 125th year celebration of Korea-US friendship at Johns Hopkins SAIS. Han Gook and Maggie had 5 or 6 litters to date and they were rescued to stop the breeding in March 2011. Han Gook and Maggie were adopted by new families and both are slowly recovering from the breeding and abuse. Han Gook and Maggie's puppies also share similar characteristics of tall and handsome figures, and they tend to be calm, gentle, patient, and smart. Most Sapsarees found in the DC area, other than those that came from the Jose and Sunny family line in New Jersey, are from Han Gook and Maggie. The pictures below are Han Gook and Maggie at the celebration event in 2007 as puppies (left, in the middle), the pair reunited a few days after the rescue (middle), and Maggie with the puppies (right).
